Building Details of Hebei Fengning Pumped Storage Power Station

Hebei Fengning Pumped Storage Power Station has a total installed capacity of 3,600MW, and the power station is developed in two phases, with the installed capacity of the first and second phases of the project being 1,800MW respectively. The hub building is mainly composed of the upper reservoir, the lower reservoir, the water transmission system of the first and second phases of the project, the underground plant and the switch station.

As of December 2023, 10 units of the power station have been put into operation. The remaining two units will also be commissioned in 2024. The 12 units installed in the power station have a total installed capacity of 3.6 million kilowatts, making it the world's largest installed capacity among pumped storage power stations. It is a pumped storage power station with weekly regulation performance, and its energy storage capacity is the first in the world.

Design of Hebei Fengning Pumped Storage Power Station

1. Provide fire doors for the main and auxiliary engine rooms of the power station; The maximum height of the fire door in the computer room is 3000m. Meet the requirements of sound insulation, heat preservation and fire prevention for power station operation.

2. Provide a large form of fireproof glass partition for the main operation room of the power station, using high light transmittance and ultra-clear glass glass to ensure fire safety and clear operation vision.

3. Provide electric blinds for the exhaust area of the power station, and cooperate with the electric induction device to realize automatic opening or closing according to the temperature.
